1. What is i-Link?

i-Link from Maxis is a high speed Internet access solution that uses broadband technologies that allow to enjoy the benefits of fast Internet access with speed of up to 2Mbps.

2. What are the broadband technologies used?

For the initial roll-out, i-Link is based on the ADSL and Leases Line technologies. Maxis  is looking into the feasibility of providing high speed internet access solutions using various broadband technologies for different types of  business applications. 3. How fast is i-Link?

Up to 2Mbps Internet access speed.

4. Why should I subscribe to i-Link when I am currently using Dial-Up or ISDN to access the Internet?

Dial-Up via modem (speeds of up to 56Kbps) and ISDN (speeds of up to 128Kbps) are both narrowband technologies and are significant slow.

i-Link provides you high speed Internet access solutions at speeds of up to 2Mbps. Information can be transferred over the Internet more productivity, saving  you both time and money.

i-Link offers always on connections - providing your business with uninterrupted Internet access at all times. No more frustrating dialing-up, busy signals or connections.

5. Is i-Link independent on where my office is located?

Yes. Maxis is working to offer i-Link services to commercial business buildings within the Klang Valley in phases. Please refer to our website at www.broadband.net.my for the updates on the list of buildings where i-Link service is available.

6. How do i subscribe to i-Link?

You may call our Customer Service at 03 92810887 or 03 92810890. Upon understanding your requirements, a dedicated General Manager or our authorized sales channel will contact you to make appointment.

7. What information must I provide when i sign up or i-Link?

  • A copy of the appropriate company registration documents:

    • Forms D & A or Forms D & B (Sole Proprietorship/Partnership)

    • Forms 49 & 8/13 or  49 & 9/13 (Company Registration)

    • Forms 79 & 80 80A or 83A (Foreign Registered Company)

  • A complete and signed i-Link Registration Form

8. How much will the service cost me?

9. Is a binding period applied to an i-Link subscription?

Yes. A 12-month minimum subscription periods is required for all i-Link package subscriptions.

10. What are my billing options?
